SHOT-BY-SHOT ANALYSIS

MEDIUM SHOT: This medium shot shows a group of people in armed clothing, looking as if they're going to fight. This shot  allows the consumer to get a good idea on what this scene will be based about due to their clothing. The facial expression on the their faces suggests they're ready and determined to achieve heroic missions.   LONGSHOT:                                                         This shot shows a character getting attacked in a car garage. This shot focuses more on the action of the scene rather than the closeups of facial expression/emotion, which then allows the consumer to see the intensity of the fight scenes.The setting is pretty mysterious so it sets a feeling that something cray might take place in the garage.  CLOSEUP SHOT: This close up shot focuses on the characters emotions in this scene. He seems as if he is  confused or on the other hand ready to retaliate. The thing with his expression is it presents to the audience many different

STORYBOARD

ESTABLISHING SHOT: we used the establishing shot to introduce the location. This gives the audience an idea on where the scenes are going to be based, the open spot with no one around suggests something might be suspicious. LONG SHOT: We used the  long shot angle to present the main character Mohamed on his phone, with nobody around. It shows an entire human figure which in this case is intended to be placed in some relation to the images surroundings.  MEDIUM SHOT: We used the medium shot to present a new character, Mathusan.  Medium shots are mainly used for dialogue sequences, and they allow the viewer to pick up on the characters movements and gestures. In this shot Mathusan's body language implies mysterious in this sense, also due to his facial expression.                                                  CLOSEUP SHOT: We used a close up shot of Mathusan to express a  certain feature, in this case his face,  which tends to take  up  most of the frame. This  is 

CAMERA ANGLE TASK

1) Pick  three  camera shots and explain the effect they have on the audience. 0.07 SECONDS IN  - The  first insight of what the viewers see is  LONG SHOT  of the Oni demons attacking Issac. This has the effect of opening this scene and allowing the consumers to understand whats about to go down. 0.23 SECONDS IN   - This is a MEDIUM SHOT  but also a  CLOSEUP  of Allison Argent's hand holding a bow and arrow getting ready to take a hit . We can see Allison's emotions as its slowly moving closer towards her and then focusing on the arrow. This implies Allison's got a big role due to her facial expression which is presented as serious and focused and it sets the scene for the following actions that will take place. 0.37 SECONDS IN   - The  CLOSE-UP SHOT  on the Oni demon communicates the intensity of the scene and the mixture of happiness and shock the other characters in this scene are feeling as Allison's arrow worked. This has the effect of causing the audience

EBI- Where is your analysis of your own chosen advert? Where is the analysis of the Sherlock clip?  Please get these published and try to use the same depth of analysis you have shown in the Water Aid one. You need to revisit the Representation area of your film poster analysis – think of how the female gender and young people are shown in the Hunger Games poster. You should be aiming higher than a 5/6 with this promising level of work. LR RESPONSE: SHERLOCK CLIP         E ffect on the consumer makes them set a challenge themselves as they're watching to solve the mystery before the characters can. Sherlock : His ability to interpret so much based on appearance alone shows that he has a deeper knowledge of people than normal and this will intrest the audience. Main Characters : John and Sherlock’s relationship presents that even the most different people can get along even by having different characteristics.
