Image result for print adverts
1 - Picture
In this advert there is a picture of a young boy holding a kinder chocolate egg and a young girl holding a gun.
2 - The logo
For this advert the logo, located in the bottom right, is a bold, white exclamation mark with the words 'MOMS DEMAND ACTION' to the side of it.
3 - The background
The background is of a empty classroom that seems quite dull.
4 - The slogan
'ONE CHILD IS HOLDING SOMETHING THAT'S BEEN BANNED IN AMERICA TO PROTECT THEM. GUESS WHICH ONE'
5 - Colour scheme
As it is not a advert that is advertising a product there's not a specific colour theme. However, there's a lot of brown and beige colours in the classroom at the back.

1.
The picture appeals to the target audience because it includes devastated looking children which allows the audience to sympathise with the message and therefore respond to it in ways the company would appreciate. It includes a young asian boy holding a kinder egg and a young white girl holding a gun. This may be subversive in society since it's not common
for young white girls to do school shootings.
2.
The logo appeals to the target audience because it is an exclamation mark grabbing the consumers attention. By noticing the logo the consumer will then be persuaded to gain more knowledge on the companies message that wants to be spread.
3.
The background of this advert is a classroom and giving the information we've gathered from looking at the main image the background appeals to the audience because it's showing that shooting happen in school, a place where children should feel safe as they are being educated, not a place of violence. It is also portrayed as a dull area but schools should be a happy place surrounded by positive vibes so it suggests to the audience that gun violence leaves school classrooms dull.
4.
The slogan ('ONE CHILD IS HOLDING SOMETHING THAT'S BEEN BANNED IN AMERICA TO PROTECT THEM. GUESS WHICH ONE')  appeals to the audience because it is a question which will attract the consumer to be more interested in finding out what the adverts message is.

3)What is the USP (unique selling point) of the product and how do you know?

What is it that makes the product special or different to appeal to consumers?

This advert is a very controversial as a topic itself, forming all types of opinions from different people. It is current in the news so what makes it special to appeal to the consumers is it uses young children as a way to speak the message to the consumer, since children are important in peoples lives they could be most affected by gun violence which is also persuading the consumer to dig deeper into the companies aim of portraying gun violence.
